About Overmortal - Technology, Programming & Consulting
Overmortal has its roots in years of technical experience and projects dating back to 1996. The company's founder was surfing the Internet back when the search engine of choice was Altavista, with Google being a geek dream and Yahoo being a user-submitted directory. He remembers fondly discovering a little company called Amazon.com by typing "online bookstore" into Altavista's search engine.
In mid-2006, Overmortal's founder noticed a problem with many web design companies and computer consulting firms. Too many companies were technology "chop-shops" looking to rush the work out of the gate and collect their money, so they could move on to the next client. Many of these companies held to strict scope documents and levied unwarranted additional costs for minor changes or shifts in the client's needs. Some of these companies even charged for meetings, phone calls and driving time!
Overmortal was founded to be a problem solving company for those in need of technology help. Dedicated to getting the job done effectively and efficiently, Overmortal follows the principles of agile development and pragmatic thought to solve problems and make clients happy. We don't charge for phone calls or meetings, and we always welcome the client's thoughts every step of the way. We understand that ideas evolve, and your projects should evolve along with them.

New Jersey
Headquartered in Burlington County, New Jersey, Overmortal has run the gamut when it comes to web design and software programming in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. Our consulting team has worked on-site as far North as Livingston, NJ and as far West as Wayne, PA. Although we've worked on web sites and applications for companies all over the United States, we've made sure to establish a solid local presence to help local area businesses grow their web presence and company through technology.
Virginia
After establishing a strong presence in New Jersey, Overmortal expanded its business South to Page County, Virginia to successfully serve such areas as Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Roanoke and Shenandoah. Our consulting team is currently one of the premier web design and software programming firms on the Western side of Virginia. Despite working on web sites all over the United States (and first being headquartered in New Jersey), Overmortal is dedicated to working hard for the Virginia area people - and businesses - to help them establish a solid foundation rooted in technology.
